Alicia makes High Honor Roll

Alicia made the honor roll the first quarter and then raised her one B- to a B and made the High Honor Roll. I was actually scared as she had several failing grades on her daily papers but somehow it all averaged out great in the end. Her report card came in the mail. So when we looked at it we called her out of her room and I started chanting one of her cheers, "We are proud of you! We are proud of you!" Now we have started a new tradition--Wendy's frostys when we want to celebrate their good grades. Hey a little incentive goes a long ways! So Milton went out for Frostys for the kids and I had low fat low sugar ice cream!

Then this evening Alicia wanted to go out to eat to celebrate! Now that is taking it a bit far but hey you have to celebrate those special moments. So we compromised. Milton and I went to Trader Joes and I got their great pizza dough and came home and I made pizza for the kids. Alicia still thought that was special!
